Qualifications

• Licensure as LPC or LSW through the Ohio CSWMFT Board is required; dependent license through Ohio Credentialing Board, CDCA, LCDC-II, or LCDC-III preferred.
• Heart Saver, Aegis Crisis Prevention, and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.
• Ability to understand and communicate effectively in written and oral form; sensitivity to cultural needs of clients.
• Successful completion of a 180-day probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Provide full range of behavioral health treatment: diagnostic assessment, individual/family/group therapy, crisis intervention, and related services.
• Adhere to department guidelines and regulations (Medicaid/Medicare, ACHC, OhioMHAS, CARF).
• Engage in professional growth and agency-sponsored training; apply best practices to patient care and engagement.
• Ensure patient safety through risk screening, safety and crisis plans, and coordination with afterhours services.
• Document accurately in EMR; maintain HIPAA and 42 CFR compliance; communicate with team via email.
