Job summary

Default Brand is seeking a therapist to provide comprehensive behavioral health treatment on-site. The role encompasses diagnostic assessments, individual/family/group therapy, crisis intervention, and coordination with afterhours services to support patient safety and recovery.

Licensure requirements include active Ohio LPC or LSW and relevant certifications within 6 months of hire. The position emphasizes adherence to HIPAA, use of EMR, and patient-centered approaches to engage and retain

Qualifications

• Active LPC or LSW license through the Ohio CSWMFT Board.
• Heart Saver, Aegis Crisis Prevention, and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides the full range of behavioral health treatment including diagnostic assessment, individual, family and group therapy, crisis intervention, and other treatment/prevention services.
• Delivers diagnosis and treatment of behavioral health disorders under supervision in compliance with Medicaid/Medicare, ACHC, OhioMHAS, and CARF guidelines.
• Engages in professional development, uses best practices for patient engagement and retention, and ensures quality care.
• Maintains safety plans, risk assessments, and coordinates with afterhours services to promote patient care.
• Utilizes EMR and video-conferencing software; adheres to HIPAA and 42 CFR confidentiality requirements.
