Qualifications

• Three months to one year experience in a related function.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driving is a requirement for this position using either a Vinfen van or personal vehicle.
• Incumbents must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment programs, including ISP/ PSTPs and clinical programs.
• Maintain records for persons served and document incidents, programs and progress notes.
• Provide training and support to persons served in completing ADLs and household tasks.
• Monitor physical and emotional needs, and report changes to supervisor.
• Store, administer, document and dispose of medication for persons served per MAP requirements.
• Participate in mandated training and staff meetings; assist with orientation of new staff.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and compliance with policies; provide transportation as needed.
• Maintain required staff-to-person served ratio; provide last-minute coverage as required.
• Provide physical intervention and/or first aid in emergencies; report to authorities as needed.
• Remain awake, alert and dressed throughout the shift; perform other duties as required.
