Alternatives, Inc. in Jackson, NJ is hiring a full-time awake overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to support adults with developmental disabilities.

You will help with daily living activities, medication administration, and community outings, while following behavioral plans to promote independence. We offer paid training, mileage reimbursement, health and wellness perks, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Administer medications and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Cook meals and provide transportation to medical appointments.
• Assist with personal hygiene and daily living tasks.
• Implement individual behavioral plans and teach residents new skills.
• Encourage participation in community outings and recreational activities.
• Report health concerns and maintain accurate documentation.
