Alternatives, Inc. is hiring a part-time awake overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver in Jackson, NJ to support adults with developmental disabilities. Wage starts at $20.75/hr, with $22.75 on weekends, plus paid training and mileage reimbursement.

The role includes administering medication, daily living assistance, and helping residents engage in community activities while maintaining safety and documentation. 24-hour shifts and weekend coverage available.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen.
• Clear tuberculosis (TB) screening.
• Ability to pass and maintain required trainings such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training.
• Basic computer skills.

Mansioni

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities with daily living activities including medication administration, cooking meals, personal hygiene and transportation to medical appointments.
• Support implementation of individual behavioral plans and teach new skills.
• Encourage residents toward community outings and recreational activities with documentation of health and safety.
