The role includes medication assistance, daily living tasks, and implementing behavioral plans to help clients live with dignity. The position offers pay of $20.75/hour, with $22.75 on weekends, paid training, mileage reimbursement, and various employee perks; training is provided and is paid.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record required.
• Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks and a drug screen.
• Clear TB screening.
• Must pass required trainings such as CPR/first aid, medication administration, and positive behavioral support training.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with developmental disabilities with activities of daily living.
• Administer medications as directed and provide transportation to medical appointments.
• Prepare meals and assist with personal hygiene.
• Implement individual behavioral plans and teach new skills.
• Encourage community outings and recreational activities; support independence.
• Document health and safety concerns accurately and on time.
