Abacus Group, LLC is seeking an AVP/VP of Fund Operations to support its hedge fund platform. The role works with senior leadership, investment professionals, and external service providers across fund accounting, financial reporting and operations.

Formación

• Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience, ideally combining public accounting audit experience with in‑house fund accounting or operations.
• Strong hedge fund accounting background; experience with credit investments, bank loans or other complex securities preferred.
• Solid understanding of NAV, investment accounting, reconciliations and fund administrator oversight.
• Experience improving systems, controls and processes in a growing investment management environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail and a hands‑on approach.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the monthly close and review NAV calculations, investment valuations, fees and expenses prepared by the fund administrator.
• Review cash, position and transaction reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and coordinate timely resolution with administrators, brokers and internal teams.
• Maintain independent accounting records and controls to validate administrator reporting and ensure accurate treatment of investment activity.
• Support cash management, trade activity and financial reporting, including analysis of fund performance and investment balances.
• Coordinate annual audits, financial statement preparation and requests from external service providers.
• Help implement investment accounting systems, improve reporting and automate reconciliation and operational processes.
