Ares Management is seeking an Associate Vice President (AVP) for our Venture Capital fund accounting team. The AVP will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and oversight of several private funds.

The role includes preparing US GAAP financial statements, overseeing NAV packages, quarterly closes, cash management, and coordinating with fund administrators, auditors and internal partners. It requires strong communication and analytical skills in a fast‑growing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 6–9 years of fund accounting experience (venture capital preferred).
• Public accounting with Big 4 background preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare US GAAP financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting deadlines.
• Oversee and review quarterly NAV packages from the fund administrator.
• Assist in quarterly close and reconciliations; manage daily cash and postings to GL.
• Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors, and internal teams to meet deadlines.
• Provide detailed reporting to investors and internal constituents; ensure compliance reporting (Form PF, ADV).
