Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) is seeking an AVP in Hedge Fund Accounting to lead daily NAV review, cash and position reconciliations, and client reporting for hedge funds. The role collaborates with global client service teams and management across Europe, Singapore, and US regions.

Ideal candidates bring 9+ years in hedge fund administration, solid GL accounting knowledge, advanced Excel, and a CFA/MBA/CA background. Includes cross-jurisdiction exposure and high-SLA deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience with an investment management or finance firm.
• 9–12 years in Hedge Fund administration or related experience.
• M.Com/CA/MBA; CFA designation is a plus.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily client deliverables within the team.
• Review and prepare NAVs of hedge fund clients daily and monthly.
• Prepare cash/position/market value reconciliations and resolve breaks; notify clients/CSMs of valid breaks.
• Review pricing of the portfolio and analyze pricing exceptions.
• Review corporate actions and ensure correct reflection in books; reconcile dividends/interest.
• Accrue management and financing fees; process OTC derivatives and related cash movements.
• Communicate with clients on daily reporting of Estimates/NAVs/queries.
