Job summary

Ares Management is looking for an Associate Vice President (AVP) for our Venture Capital fund accounting team. In this role, you will oversee daily accounting responsibilities and ensure timely financial reporting across multiple funds.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 6-9 years of relevant experience in fund accounting. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as advanced Excel capabilities, are essential. Compensation includes a base salary of $160,000 - $180,000 plus robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-9 years of experience in fund accounting preferred.
• Public accounting experience, Big 4 (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review quarterly NAV packages.
• Assist with preparation of US GAAP financial statements.
• Manage daily cash activities for several funds.
