Job summary

Moody's Corporation is seeking an AVP-Ratings Analyst for the Structured Finance Ratings Team in the United States. You will lead the rating and surveillance of CLOs, structured credit, and corporate ABS, delivering high-quality opinions and engaging with market participants.

You will model cash flows, analyze transaction features, and present findings at rating committees while collaborating with issuers, investors and advisers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 3+ years in credit analysis for structured finance or 5+ years in general credit analysis
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles
• Experience leading rating discussions and publishing research with market implications

Responsibilities

• Act as lead analyst for structured finance transactions, assessing credit, structural, operational, and legal risks
• Analyze transaction performance, collateral characteristics, and structural features to form rating recommendations
• Model cash flows and review documentation to evaluate stress scenarios and outcomes
• Lead rating committees and present analysis of structures, risks, and key credit factors
• Communicate with arrangers, issuers, investors, trustees, servicers, and external advisors
• Represent the team in issuer meetings and investor forums
• Produce publishable research including transaction reports, sector commentary and market analyses
• Monitor ratings and identify emerging risks across structured finance sectors
• Participate in projects to enhance analytical frameworks and digital enablement
