Job summary

Moody's seeks an AVP-Ratings Analyst to lead credit analysis for structured finance, focusing on CLOs, structured credit, and corporate ABS. You will deliver high‑quality opinions, engage with market participants, and drive rating decisions end-to-end.

The role requires deep analytical skills, leadership in rating committees, and the ability to manage multiple transactions in a dynamic environment. AI tools experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in structured finance credit analysis.
• Experience with CLOs, structured credit, and corporate ABS.
• Proven ability to build and stress-test cash flow models.
• Knowledge of credit, structural, legal and operational risks.
• Ability to lead rating committees and articulate opinions clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; publishable research skills.
• Experience engaging with arrangers, issuers, investors, and counsel.
• Experience implementing AI-powered workflow improvements.

Responsibilities

• Act as lead analyst for structured finance transactions, assessing risks.
• Analyze performance, collateral, and features to formulate ratings.
• Model cash flows and review docs for stress scenarios.
• Lead rating committees and present structure and risk analyses.
• Communicate with market participants and external advisors.
• Represent team in reviews, issuer meetings, and investor forums.
• Produce research and market analyses related to structured finance.
• Monitor ratings and identify emerging risks across sectors.
• Participate in projects to enhance analytics and efficiency.
