Job summary

Nationwide is seeking an AVP of P&C AI Enablement to shape and accelerate AI-driven transformation. You will lead strategy, operating model, governance, and execution for AI capabilities across the Property & Casualty business, partnering with enterprise stakeholders to drive end-to-end process change.

The role involves setting direction for enterprise-aligned practices, leading an Enablement council, and delivering scalable AI services and pilots in a remote U.S. environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, technology, data/analytics, operations, insurance or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Set the AI operating model for P&C and establish governance routines.
• Lead enterprise AI governance across P&C and ensure responsible use.
• Maintain visibility and prioritization of the AI portfolio and value tracking.
• Partner with P&C areas to evaluate and prioritize AI solutions and suppliers.
• Lead end-to-end transformation support and pilot efforts for AI capabilities.
• Promote AI fluency and shared practices across the Enablement Council.
