Job summary

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company seeks an AVP, P&C AI Enablement to shape and accelerate AI-driven transformation across Property & Casualty. You will lead strategy, operating models, governance, and scalable services that translate AI into real business outcomes.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders, prioritize opportunities, evaluate solutions and suppliers, and drive end-to-end process transformation with responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, technology, data/analytics, operations, insurance or related field preferred.
• Advanced degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Certifications in AI, data, process improvement, insurance or change management preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Sets direction for the P&C AI operating model and governance across P&C.
• Establishes enterprise-aligned practices, playbooks and routines for AI execution.
• Leads visibility and prioritization of the AI portfolio and performance metrics.
• Partners with business areas to identify, evaluate and prioritize AI solutions and shared capabilities.
• Deploys scalable services, pilots and transformation support for end-to-end processes.
• Leads the AI Enablement Council and promotes AI fluency across the organization.
