Job summary

Everett Community College seeks a strategic, collaborative leader to serve as Associate Vice President of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility. Reporting to the President and joining the executive team, the AVP will shape college-wide strategy to advance educational equity, accessibility, belonging, and student success.

The role uses disaggregated data to identify gaps, advises leaders on sensitive issues, and builds trust with students, employees, labor partners, and community

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in education, public administration, organizational leadership, social sciences, student development, or related field.
• Three years of supervisory leadership experience; five years with a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience leading organizational change, strategic planning, policy review, program development and evaluation, and data-informed accountability in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and refinement of a college-wide equity strategic plan.
• Establish IDEA goals and measures using disaggregated data to monitor progress and campus climate.
• Advise President and executives on IDEA strategy, accessibility, and organizational change.
• Supervise Equity and Social Justice programs and Center for Disability Services.
• Engage with students, employees, labor partners, and community partners to advance equitable outcomes.
