Job summary

Community College of Denver seeks an Associate Vice President for Progression and Student Success to lead the division’s coordinated care systems, integrating career readiness with financial aid and advisement to support degree completion and workforce transition.

The AVP will oversee the Financial Aid unit and Student Success Technology, collaborate with Academic Affairs, and drive equity-minded strategies to boost persistence, completion, and economic mobility for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Student Affairs, Educational Leadership, Counseling, Business Administration, Public Administration, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead Student Services strategy for progression and coordinated care across the student lifecycle.
• Oversee budgets, staffing, and operational excellence within Student Services.
• Supervise Financial Aid and Student Success Technology units.
• Partner with Academic Affairs and the Center for Workforce Initiatives to align career readiness with labor market needs.
