Job summary

State Street is seeking a Fund Accounting & Administration AVP to lead a growing team delivering accounting and admin services for multiple alternative investment clients. You will oversee income allocations, fee calculations, and capital events, ensuring accurate NAV reporting and timely deliverables.

You will onboard new funds, drive client satisfaction, and promote compliant, scalable processes. Strong leadership, communication, and a focus on risk management are essential in this

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–6 years of Private Market experience.
• Experience with alternative investment asset classes, complex fund structures and fee calculations desired.
• CPA qualification is favourable but not required.
• Experience with Investran or Geneva favourable but not required.
• Highly effective communication and management skills.
• Ability to thrive and function in a high pressure deadline driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing team delivering accounting and administrative services for one or more alternative investment client relationships.
• Allocate income to investors and determine management and incentive fees per waterfall provisions, and process capital events.
• Oversee portfolio and fund level accounting including monthly/quarterly NAV reporting.
• Lead onboarding of existing client funds and launch of new funds.
• Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
• Design and champion technology solutions for complex reporting and data needs.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and participate in strategic groups to improve processes.
• Recruit, hire, and develop staff to realize their full potential.
