Job summary

State Street Corporation is seeking a Fund Accounting & Administration AVP to lead a team delivering accounting and administrative services for alternative investment clients. You will allocate income to investors and calculate management and incentive fees, and handle capital events and fund-level NAV reporting.

You will onboard existing funds and launch new ones, ensuring client satisfaction and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5–6 years of Private Market experience.
• CPA qualification is favorable but not required.
• Strong communication and management skills are essential.
• Ability to thrive under high-pressure deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage a growing team delivering accounting and administrative services for alternative investment client relationships.
• Oversee income allocation to investors and fee calculations per waterfall provisions.
• Process capital events such as capital calls and distributions.
• Review and approve monthly or quarterly net asset value reporting.
• Lead onboarding of existing funds and launches of new funds.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations; design tech solutions for reporting needs.
