Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President (VP) for Private Markets to service clients within our Alternative Investment Solutions Group. You will lead workflow, client deadlines, and supervise staff while delivering reporting and day-to-day accounting support.

The role requires extensive client interaction, coordination with Big 4 auditors, and deep knowledge of fund accounting, administration, and risk services for hedge funds and private credit funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• 12+ years of general ledger accounting or audit experience.
• 6+ years of leadership experience.
• Previous financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lower level staff and manage client relationships.
• Review financial work papers, statements, and footnotes.
• Coordinate annual audit and tax return preparation with Big 4 firms.
• Ensure compliance with investment fund documents and agreements.
• Manage internal workflow and client deadlines.
