Page Executive is seeking an AVP Finance to oversee external financial reporting and accounting policy for a leading investment bank. The role focuses on ensuring accurate disclosures and compliant reporting across SEC filings and global operations.

You'll work with senior leadership to improve reporting quality, manage audits for a broker-dealer entity, and drive policy development while coordinating international regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline; active CPA license.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience, including public accounting (Big Four preferred).
• Strong expertise in U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, Regulation S-K, Regulation S-X, and SOX.
• Working knowledge of IFRS and international reporting.
• Direct experience preparing and reviewing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K).
• Experience coordinating accounting and reporting across international jurisdictions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain accounting to executives and auditors.
• Project management, organizational, and multitasking capabilities.
• Experience with broker-dealer regulatory reporting is advantageous.
• Familiarity with XBRL and ActiveDisclosure.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K) ensuring US GAAP compliance.
• Partner with senior leadership to gather, evaluate, and enhance financial disclosures.
• Research accounting guidance, SEC requirements, and industry disclosures to improve reporting quality.
• Oversee XBRL tagging and ensure consistency across filings, earnings releases, and public reports.
• Manage annual audited financial statements and regulatory reporting for broker-dealer entity.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
