Job summary

iCapital in Salt Lake City is hiring an Audit and Regulatory Reporting professional for the Assistant Vice President role to lead SEC filings (10-K/10-Q/8-K) and related disclosures. You will oversee consolidated financial statements, MD&A, and schedules while coordinating input with senior leadership and the Fund Finance team.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of SEC/financial reporting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with consolidations and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field is required; CPA or MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in SEC reporting, financial reporting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Experience with public disclosures and financial consolidations.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with big 4 audit firms or DFIN ActiveDisclosure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of all SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and other public disclosures for various clients.
• Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and related schedules.
• Coordinate disclosure input with external senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Administer financial reporting controls and support SOX compliance framework.
• Collaborate with external Big 4 audit teams to ensure timely financial reporting and address open items.
• Manage and oversee the client’s consolidation process.
• Evaluate and improve internal controls to ensure financial integrity and transparency.
