Atlas Search, a financial services firm in New York City, seeks an AVP to run quarterly consolidated reporting and legal entity accounting across its subsidiaries. This is a hands-on seat with direct exposure to senior finance leadership each quarter.

Based in New York City, the role focuses on US GAAP reporting, month-end close, and SEC filings tied to the broker-dealer business, with collaboration across tax, treasury, regulatory reporting, and IT.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required or in progress.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 5+ years in financial reporting for banks/broker-dealers or Big4 audit.
• Deep U.S. GAAP and technical reporting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and ability to manage multiple deliverables.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual consolidated financials under U.S. GAAP.
• Present results to senior finance leadership and explain drivers of earnings.
• Oversee month-end close for consolidation, intercompany, and taxes.
• Substantiate balance sheet and P&L, flag issues, write variance analysis.
• Prepare SEC filings tied to broker-dealer activities.
• Advise on new deals and changes to legal entity structure with cross‑functional teams.
• Support debt offering documents and drive process improvements with IT.
