Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• Proficient with structural engineering principles and design/build.
• Experience with rehabilitation and reconstruction projects.
• Knowledge of relevant construction laws and codes.
• Strong written communication for technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight collecting and analyzing site data and plans.
• Apply high-level structural techniques for complex projects.
• Conduct investigations and inspections for conformance with permits and standards.
• Develop construction plans, specs, and cost estimates; coordinate with owners and engineers.
• Lead design and construction management from inception to completion.
• Mentor staff and foster professional development.
• Stay current with advanced structural engineering techniques.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects and proposals.
