Job summary

Bank of China USA is seeking an experienced professional to independently manage and develop business relations with Chinese financial institutions and BOC Affiliates, supporting growth and conducting AML/KYC duties.

Responsibilities include relationship management, financial analysis, market research, and coordinating cross-border activities in English and Chinese, with exposure to BSA/KYC, FLURM and audits. Location in New York, full-time, USD 65,000–150,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in banking or financial services.
• BA/BS/LLM degree with major in Accounting/Finance or Business or other relevant fields.
• Solid knowledge of banking operations, banking products and services, regulatory and compliance, correspondent banking business, and marketing.
• Bilingual language skills in English and Chinese (both oral and written) required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage relations with assigned customers to maintain existing business and seek potential business.
• Monitor customers’ account balance on an ongoing basis and prepare account balance trends.
• Conduct customers’ credit data reviews and analyze financial ratios, spreadsheets, and cash flow worksheets to evaluate risk.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner and coordinate with other departments as needed.
• Assess costs and risks associated with accounts and prepare mitigation plans.
• Coordinate events, seminars, conferences, and exhibitions to promote the Bank’s brand and business.
• Maintain and update customer profiles in related systems and ensure proper documentation.
