Job summary

Cantor Fitzgerald in New York, NY is seeking an AVP, Intelligent Automation & Process Enablement to design, test, and embed AI-assisted workflows across Finance, Tax, Treasury and Risk.

You will lead end-to-end process mapping, translate complex processes into functional requirements, and partner with Technology and the COE to transition prototypes into production-ready solutions while ensuring governance, auditability, and financial integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience with automation or AI-enabled processes.
• Hands-on experience using LLM-based tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).
• Proficiency in process mapping, requirements gathering, and user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to validate AI outputs.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to build trusted partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and documentation of AI-assisted workflows using Copilot, Claude, and other LLMS.
• Develop, test, and iterate prompts and agent logic for automation quality.
• Create and maintain automation documentation including approvals and guardrails.
• First-line validation of AI outputs before handoff to Accounting & Controls BA.
• Process mapping and re-engineering across Finance, Tax, Treasury and Risk.
• Translate complex processes into functional requirements and user stories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement redesigned processes.
• Partner with Technology and COE to productionize automation prototypes.
• Provide hands-on support configuring, testing, and troubleshooting tools.
• Build relationships with Head of Strategic Change Delivery and stakeholders.
• Explain automation concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ensure AI workflows include accounting treatment, controls, and auditability.
• Develop documentation of AI workflows and guardrails; assist training materials.
