Job summary

The Carlyle Group seeks an Associate Vice President to lead AI and technology for Finance Process & Operations, spanning GL, AR, Billing and Payroll. You will set the strategy to apply automation, own governance, and drive data integrity across the record-to-report and order-to-cash landscape.

You will lead a team of FPO staff and consultants, partnering with finance leadership and risk functions to balance strategic transformation with daily operations and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; concentration in Accounting/Finance/Economics/IS or related preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in finance/accounting operations, with process improvement across GL, AR, Billing and Payroll.
• Experience bridging finance and technology teams, with governance and AI adoption experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI/technology strategy for GL, AR, Billing and Payroll functions.
• Own end-to-end record-to-report and order-to-cash processes and data integrity.
• Direct agile delivery of finance-technology initiatives from discovery through stabilization.
• Manage a team of staff and consultants, balancing program backlog and day-to-day work.
• Communicate progress and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
