Arch Capital Group Ltd. seeks an AVP AI & Automation to lead end-to-end data extraction and enrichment capabilities across underwriting and claims. You will collaborate with senior leaders, IT, and vendors to design and deploy AI solutions, mentor offshore resources, and improve the Gen AI Center of Excellence.

This role drives speed, agility, and competitive advantage through advanced technologies. You will oversee initiatives to optimize workflows, identify opportunities, and ensure alignment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ai engineering experience
• 3+ years of data science experience
• 8+ years of experience in data science/AI/automation/engineering
• Excellent collaboration and relationship-building abilities
• Ability to translate ambiguous concepts into actionable plans
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Effective communication across audiences
• Experience defining technology requirements to enhance business processes
• Adaptable to changing requirements and priorities
• 5+ years Python development experience
• P&C insurance process analysis and automation experience
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams for delivering technology solutions
• Bachelor-level degree in related field or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to analyze workflows and implement AI-driven improvements.
• Help establish Arch’s Gen AI Center of Excellence with best practices.
• Maintain relationships with senior leaders and identify new automation opportunities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, including offshore resources, to deliver scalable tech solutions.
• Define technology requirements to enhance business processes and optimization.
• Drive faster decision-making and business impact through automation and data enrichment.
• Mentor team members and align initiatives with strategic goals.
