SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing and overseeing the Adjustments area within Money Movement. Leads teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises employees, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and promptly.

The Adjustments Manager collaborates with direct reports to drive tasks and deliver excellent customer service. Also works with other Money Movement leaders to improve efficiency across multiple areas.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs supervisory duties according to organizational policies and laws, including hiring, training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Maintains a professional demeanor, demonstrates effective communication skills, and interacts effectively at all organizational levels. Manages multiple priorities and delegates effectively to meet deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads and manages a team, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
• Handles hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Manages daily operations of adjustment items and deposit reviews.
• Resolves complex issues and partners with internal teams for cross-training.
• Develops, implements, and monitors processes, advocating for automation and scalability.
• Ensures effective application use and process improvements, maintaining documentation.
• Identifies automation opportunities and enhances customer service.
• Provides staff training and monitors performance metrics for improvements.
• Maintains SOX controls and compliance documentation.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Maintains proficiency in banking policies and compliance, completing required training. Demonstrates professionalism, communication skills, and leadership. Understands account documentation, retention, and banking systems. Possesses problem-solving skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of FIS IBS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• At least five years of banking experience, including operations and exceptions processing.
• Minimum of two years in a supervisory or leadership role.
