Job Title: Adjustments Manager

SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing the Adjustments area within Money Movement, overseeing teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises and leads staff to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Collaborates with team members and other leaders to drive efficiency and excellent customer service.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs supervisory duties in accordance with organizational policies and laws, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee discipline.

INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:

Maintains professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrates effective communication skills, and interacts effectively at all organizational levels. Manages multiple priorities and delegates effectively under tight deadlines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Leads and manages a team, ensuring timely and accurate task completion.
• Handles hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversees daily operations related to adjustments and deposit reviews.
• Resolves complex issues within the area.
• Collaborates with internal partners for cross-training and process improvements.
• Designs and monitors processes, advocates for automation and scalability.
• Uses applications effectively, identifies process improvement opportunities, and maintains documentation.
• Acts as an agent of change by automating tasks and enhancing customer service.
• Provides staff training and monitors performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Maintains SOX and other control documentation.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Adheres to banking regulations, policies, and completes compliance training.
• Possesses excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Works independently to meet deadlines.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of FIS IBS preferred.
• Ability to learn new banking systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Minimum five years banking experience in operations, money movement, or exceptions processing.
• At least two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
