SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing and overseeing the Adjustments area within Money Movement. Leads teams that process deposit adjustments and item processing, including deposit review. Supervises employees to ensure tasks are completed accurately and timely.
The Adjustments Manager collaborates with direct reports to drive tasks and ensure excellent customer service. Also works with other leaders in the Money Movement team to improve efficiencies across multiple areas.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs supervisory duties according to organizational policies and laws, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and discipline.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
Maintains professional appearance and attitude. Communicates effectively with management, employees, and customers. Manages multiple priorities and delegates effectively to meet deadlines.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads and manages a team, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks. Oversees daily operations of adjustment items and deposit review. Resolves complex issues and partners with internal teams for cross-training and process improvements.
Designs and monitors processes, advocates for automation, and maintains process documentation. Identifies opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements. Provides training and monitors performance metrics. Ensures compliance with SOX controls and other regulations.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Maintains proficiency in banking policies, laws, and regulations. Demonstrates professional demeanor and effective communication skills. Manages multiple priorities, understands account documentation requirements, and possesses strong problem-solving skills. Works independently to meet deadlines and contributes positively as a team player.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (preferred), at least five years of banking experience in operations or money movement, and two years in a supervisory role. Knowledge of exceptions processing and banking systems is preferred.
