Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an experienced engineer to lead environmental acceptance testing for avionics hardware associated with the New Glenn program. The role focuses on planning, coordinating with development teams and external labs, and owning test campaigns to ensure mission-ready spaceflight hardware.

The candidate will mentor small teams, analyze test data, and continually improve test processes while communicating clearly with stakeholders and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a B.S. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace engineering (or related technical field with a strong bias toward electronics test and verification).
• 7+ years of hands-on experience developing automated test execution frameworks for embedded systems and processing large datasets to verify design and operational requirements.
• Experience building, leading, mentoring and managing small teams on fast-paced projects with partial requirements and changing criteria.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement acceptance test campaigns for avionics flight hardware.
• Coordinate with product development teams and labs to execute environmental tests.
• Own box-level avionics test campaigns for New Glenn and improve test processes.
