Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Technical Project Manager to plan and monitor projects and test campaigns for the New Glenn avionics development and operations. You will collaborate with engineers, technicians, and buyers to maintain program schedules and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will build a robust professional network within the organization, interface with cross-functional teams, and apply strong communication skills to report progress

Qualifications

• B.S. degree or equivalent in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Mathematics, or related disciplines
• 4+ years experience planning and managing projects/programs in a development environment
• Experience with manufacturing rate management & Improvement
• Ability to build a professional network within the organization and interface with cross-functional teams
• Experience with scheduling software such as P6 Primavera or MS Project
• Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Self-starter with bias for action and accountability
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to balance technical, business, and organizational influences
• History of independent work, foreseeing problems, delivering on commitments

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor projects/test campaigns according to strict deadlines and high-level program schedules
• Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and factor these relationships into PM decisions
• Lead and coordinate TPM activities across manufacturing/support functions
• Ensure successful execution of test campaigns for avionics hardware for the New Glenn program
• Demonstrate leadership in safety, quality, and program performance
