Job summary
RTX in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Software Engineer II to support Mission Sensors, Weapons, and IFF avionics. You will work in an agile environment translating requirements into robust software, tests, and integration strategies.

Qualifications
- Typically requires a STEM degree with 2+ years of experience or an advanced degree.
- Experience working within Agile development teams.
- Experience developing software requirements.
- Experience with testing using Python.
Responsibilities
- Support software engineering activities within an Agile development environment, translating system and software requirements into effective software, test and verification strategies.
- Develop automated and semi-automated test scripts using Python to validate software functionality and system performance.
- Update and maintain our software products using Ada/C.
- Verify software builds in integrated lab environments and support formal verification events for major program deliveries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to refine system requirements and design solutions.
