You will design and implement real‑time software for safety‑critical environments, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable pilots’ decision‑support tools.
The role emphasizes embedded and hosted application software, real‑time multi‑threaded development, and adherence to DO‑178C guidelines,
Qualifications
- Degree in STEM or advanced degree with relevant experience.
- 5 years of software development using Ada/Java/C++/Python.
- Experience with embedded and hosted application software development.
- Real‑time, multi‑threaded embedded systems development experience (LynxOS/PowerPC) is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and integrate software for Tactical Situational Awareness systems in avionics.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, and product teams to define software requirements.
- Develop real‑time data fusion, visualization, and decision‑support algorithms.
- Ensure safety‑critical compliance per industry standards such as DO-178C.
- Perform performance analysis to meet reliability, latency, and efficiency goals.
- Participate in Agile processes including sprint planning and CI/CD.
