Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced avionics GNC engineer to design, test, integrate and operate flight systems for the New Glenn program. You will develop test plans, participate in real-time operations, and ensure flight hardware and software work together to achieve reliable spaceflight.

You will coordinate with hardware, software, and test teams, writing procedures, performing hands-on troubleshooting, and supporting launch campaigns.

Qualifications

• BS degree in a relevant engineering or physics field.
• 3+ years in Avionics GNC design, test, integration or operations.
• Experience with avionics networks, routing tables and SCI processes.
• Knowledge of firmware vs software in avionics components (FPGA/PLC).
• Strong operations planning and organizational skills.
• Comfortable communicating in a launch control room.

Responsibilities

• Process assigned vehicle systems from launch-site receipt through launch and landing.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, quality documents and procedures.
• Interface with embedded software teams for deployment and updates of OFP.
• Ensure integration of launch vehicle and ground systems for flight readiness.
• Perform data reviews and contribute to process improvements post-flight.
