Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking an avionics integration lead to drive cradle-to-grave verification, interface control, and customer-focused design efforts for the New Glenn program. You will own avionics configuration, supervise testing, and coordinate across engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery of complex avionics deliverables.

The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and a strong dedication to safe spaceflight, with a path from proposal to launch spanning multiple integration cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Systems, Aerospace, Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years experience developing requirements and validation/verification articles.
• 1+ year experience in Integration & Test setting.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience collaborating across multiple technical teams.
• Experience with avionics hardware/software configuration design.

Responsibilities

• Own avionics configuration and integration between New Glenn and Customer Payloads.
• Cradle-to-grave verification and validation of electrical interface control document requirements.
• Assist in design efforts to meet customer avionics requirements.
• Responsible Engineer for Integrated Vehicle Testing related to customer avionics configurations.
• Own multiple integration efforts as a single-thread avionics leader from proposal through launch.
