Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a hands-on Launch & Test Engineer to join the OLS Test Operations team. You will test, maintain, inspect, and troubleshoot ground support equipment and test-enabling hardware for the New Glenn program, including avionics consoles and related systems.

The role emphasizes cross-disciplinary collaboration across avionics, hydraulics, cryogenics, and software, with opportunities to influence test readiness, safety, and efficiency for multiple launch campaigns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related technical field.
  • Direct experience operating or integrating Avionics for cryogenics, fluids, or propulsion test stands and tests.
  • Hands‑on experience with real‑time console operations and anomaly response.
  • Experience with test procedures to implement upgrades, perform maintenance, and verify system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of test facilities for orbital rockets, lunar spacecraft, and launch vehicle systems.
  • Generate and execute test procedures involving high-pressure gas, cryogenic, and fluid systems.
  • Review and interpret test data to assess facility health and performance at system and component levels.
  • Develop and maintain test documentation, work instructions, and inspection plans for ground and test systems.
  • Support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve reliability and performance.
