Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of avionics equipment in an FAA-regulated environment. Onsite role with night shift 10:30 PM-7:00 AM and responsibilities including soldering and component-level troubleshooting.

The role requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS with 2 years of relevant experience, plus prior electronics troubleshooting and Collins Aerospace MRO experience.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.
• Prior experience in a Collins Aerospace MRO environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, or modification of avionics equipment under supervision.
• Operate, maintain, and repair avionics equipment.
• Analyze products and modifications per customer requirements and approved docs.
• Solder fine pitch and SMD components.
• Assess product needs per customer specs.
• Troubleshoot problems down to component level.
• Demonstrate organization and time management skills.
• May involve lifting 25+ pounds and standing for long periods.
