Job summary

RTX is seeking a qualified Avionics Electronics Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair and modification of electronic avionics equipment in an FAA-regulated environment. This night-shift role (Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM) is onsite at the Federal Way facility, working within Collins Aerospace offerings and RTX’s broader aerospace capabilities.

You will use standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, meters, generators, spectrum analyzers) and SAP/MRO software, following

Qualifications

• Typically requires a HS diploma or AA/AS with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Must have electronics background or education with 2+ years complimentary work history in a manufacturing or service environment.
• Electronics maintenance industry experience or education required.
• Must have prior experience troubleshooting electronics equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting and testing of electrical equipment and systems.
• Follow written procedures and demonstrate proper use of hand tools and measuring devices.
• Follow blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
• Troubleshooting and testing of repair units.
• Aligns and adjusts advanced electronic components on units being repaired to ensure proper functioning of electronic circuits.
