Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace division is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician in Federal Way, WA. This onsite role performs testing, troubleshooting, and modification of electronic avionics equipment under FAA guidelines, with 2nd shift hours 2:00-10:30 PM.

The candidate will use standard and custom test equipment, follow procedures, and work in a fast-paced MRO environment. Experience with SAP and calibration procedures is preferred. Safety sensitive position with drug testing.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or AA/AS with 4+ years in electronics. Electronics background or education required.
• AAS degree in electronics preferred. Prior experience in aviation electronics repair is a plus.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics equipment is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment, troubleshooting and testing of electrical equipment.
• Follow procedures, blueprints and diagrams to meet specifications and tolerance levels.
• Troubleshoot and test repair units and calibrate advanced electronic components.
• Work as part of project teams in a fast-paced MRO environment.
