RTX is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician in Federal Way to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electronic avionics equipment in a FAA-regulated environment. The Avionics Electronics Technician will participate in high-level technical work with little or no instruction. Responsible to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of various moderate to complex electronic avionics equipment in in an FAA regulated environment and in accordance with Collins Aerospace Workmanship and Quality Standards, including products returned from airlines, dealers, airframes and/or end users for service under close or general supervision.
This is a 2nd Shift position with the following hours: Monday through Friday, 2:00-10:30 PM
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA's regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
