Job summary

Collins Aerospace in College Park, GA is seeking an Avionics Electronics Technician to perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electronic avionics equipment in line with workmanship and quality standards.

This is a 1st shift role (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM) requiring FAA safety compliance and prior electronics maintenance experience; onsite collaboration across teams and adherence to service bulletins.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree or equivalent with relevant electronics experience.
• 6+ years relevant experience required with AA/AS; or 8+ years with HS diploma.
• Experience troubleshooting electronics equipment and applying Service Bulletins.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate precision test equipment for alignment and testing of electrical equipment.
• Analyze circuitry and locate malfunction sources during testing.
• Perform disassembly/assembly of units for repair and modification as needed.
• Install modifications per Service Bulletin or authorized documentation.
