Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Avionics/Electronics Aircraft Mechanic I to perform maintenance checks on flight controls, avionics, and electrical systems, including software and hardware integration. You will troubleshoot, maintain, and test complex avionics, sensors, power distribution, and mission equipment on aircraft.

Successful candidates will hold an A&P license or have extensive rotary-wing experience, possess strong reading of technical data, and be able to use common hand tools and gauges.

Qualifications

• Valid A&P license (or equivalent)
• 3+ years aviation maintenance experience in past 6 years
• 2+ years rotary wing aircraft experience
• 2+ years on the assigned MDS (military designation)
• Must obtain/maintain facility credentials; US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance checks on flight controls, avionics, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment and diagnose repairs.
• Maintain and test avionics and electrical systems with software/hardware integration.
• Maintain tools and equipment and ensure proper calibration.
