Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I to maintain, repair, and overhaul hydraulic and pneumatic systems on rotary wing aircraft in the United States. You will test, troubleshoot, and isolate malfunctions using manuals and schematics while following safety and company procedures.

The role requires three years in aviation maintenance, two years on rotary wing platforms, and the ability to work with powertrain subsystems, with opportunities to lead teams on complex tasks and document work in

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• U.S. military technical school or specialized training desired; education level certified.
• A&P license valid (optional).
• Three years aviation maintenance experience, two years rotary wing, two years on MDS in last six years.
• Valid driver’s license and own tools required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, modify, and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems and components.
• Test, isolate malfunctions, and overhaul systems per manuals/schematics.
• Assemble/repair powertrain components on CH-47, UH-60; bleed procedures.
• Fabricate hoses and tubes; perform scheduled inspections and PM.
• Requisition parts, prepare records, and manage logs in aircraft maintenance.
• Adhere to safety, policies, and perform additional duties as assigned.
