Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Project Manager- Aviation to lead complex nationwide aviation projects. The role reports into the National Aviation Vertical and requires approximately 75% travel across the United States, coordinating with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.

You will oversee safety, budgeting, scheduling and procurement, with a path toward Senior Project Manager. A construction management degree and 7+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel and/or relocate.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must be willing to work non-traditional hours to meet project needs.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of safety culture and ensures an injury‑free environment.
• Manages prestart checklist form and bid package development.
• Supports preconstruction activities including takeoff, coordination, schedule development and bid advertisement.
• Leads buyout schedule, verifies pricing and manages subcontractor pricing.
• Manages submittal schedule and approvals with architects/engineers.
• Coordinates stakeholders and communicates project status and risks.
• Prepares cost/margin forecasts and contributes to budget development.
• Drives project closeout using standard processes.
