Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Director to provide overall direction and leadership for the assigned work program through all project phases. The role drives operational excellence, financial management, and stakeholder relationships in alignment with the company's strategy and values.

Key duties include leading safety culture, strategic planning, and client relationship management while guiding complex risk and contractual issues to protect project and company interests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• 15+ years construction management experience (preferred).
• 5+ years people management experience (required).
• Experience running 75M+ Aviation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project across all phases of the lifecycle.
• Leads safety culture and mentors staff; investigates incidents and implements corrective actions.
• Supports strategy development and company-wide initiatives and policies.
• Provides strategic direction to teams in light of project plans and KSIs.
• Manages client relationships at leadership level and pursues new business opportunities.
• Manages project risk, change orders, contingency expenditures and fee enhancements.
• Leads preconstruction discussions with clients at a leadership level and collaborates on obligations.
• Oversees project and schedule reviews to ensure contractual obligations are met and team accountability.
