Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a General Superintendent to lead a highly complex aviation project portfolio across the United States. You will develop the project plan, oversee teams, and ensure safe, on-time delivery while aligning with JE Dunn’s standards and the client’s requirements.

The role requires 12+ years of construction experience, a strong background in aviation projects, and proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractors on large-scale sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Minimum 12+ years construction experience with field supervision.
• Experience leading Lean principles on projects is preferred.
• Must have experience leading Aviation projects and large-scale budgets.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors, staff, and project workflow.
• Develops work plans, coordinates site care, and manages schedules.
• Participates in progress meetings and owner/architect coordination.
• Optimizes budgets, quantities and procurement processes.
• Leads project reviews, preplans and change negotiations.
