Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a Project Manager 2 to provide overall direction on moderately complex projects and portions of large construction efforts. The role emphasizes safety leadership, schedule and budget management, and coordination across owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The candidate will travel up to 75% of the time nationwide and lead the preconstruction and procurement processes, including bid package development, buyout planning, and subcontractor coordination,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years construction management experience.
• Ability to lead safety culture and manage project risk.
• Proficient in MS Office and construction software.
• Experience with preconstruction, buyout, submittals and change management.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of moderate to large construction projects.
• Safely manage project execution and compliance.
• Oversee preconstruction activities including quantity takeoff and bid packages.
• Manage subcontractor pricing, buyout and change orders.
• Develop and update project schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate stakeholders and meetings (OAC, monthly reviews).
• Ensure timely submittals and closeout processes.
