Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (4 additional years of relevant experience can be accepted in lieu of degree)
• 12+ years of hands‑on experience in telecommunications network engineering, circuit integration, or infrastructure planning.
• Deep technical command of BGP, TCP/IP, MPLS, and IPv6, specifically telecommunications infrastructure for TDM-to-IP conversion.
• Hands‑on experience with optical networking (fiber), telecom network infrastructure hardware, server‑level deployments, testing, validation and acceptance.
• Proven ability to model network growth and optimize capacity during large‑scale system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, integration, and testing of NAS-supporting systems and convert architecture drawings into working IP solutions.
• Direct full life cycle of network infrastructure projects from planning to final deployment and migrate TDM to IP systems with thorough testing.
• Assess requirement documents and communicate design updates to hardware and software teams.
• Provide hands-on infrastructure support and resolve complex bottlenecks during multi‑state deployments.
• Use dashboards and KPIs to verify fiber installations meet reliability and resilience standards.
• Provide clear status updates and briefings to stakeholders and senior leadership.
