Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a junior to mid-level software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for aviation programs. This full-time on-site role at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD requires an active Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications
- Two years of software or systems engineering experience.
- Knowledge of avionics systems is required.
- BS in a technical discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements.
- Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Conduct analysis of software defects.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity subject Matter experts.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
- Support the ECP process and SOW/CDRL activities.
- Develop IGCEs and assist in technical evaluations of proposals.
